JOY

Joy stands at the window and watches the hummingbirds at the feeder. They are the same, she and nature’s most tenacious forager. She knows they came many miles to see her and she is grateful. Joy can’t remember the last time she was sad. She tries to make herself feel that way sometimes — just for kicks —  Get your Joy on here…

  1. Smiling in spite of it, something you can’t help but do when watching the birds, especially the hummingbird. Nice to meet you via the A to Z!

    Happy A to Z-ing 🙂

I may be wrong, but when I picture this character I see her as a very young child, innocent and appreciative of all the little things we as adults forget to notice

Beautiful visual! I pictured her as an mature woman who’d been around the block a few times and was still smiling, or rather smiling in spite of it all! Thanks for that!
