Living Consciously means being present in the moment, not worrying about the past or superimposing you wishes on the future, rather, just experiencing the here and now in all its abundance. That is a choice we all make on a moment-to-moment basis. When you’re having coffee with a friend while checking your news feed on your cellphone, you are not living consciously.  Read more here…

    This is great. I’m grappling with trying to live more in the moment—always have. Overstimulation, distraction, multitasking—a typically bullshit marketing-made word—ultimately makes us feel unfulfilled and anxious. Anyhow, just wanted to say that I loved this.

      Thanks! My daughter says she wants to focus but there’s just so much to look at so it’s hard. I remember having the same issues, but now there are cell phones and so much content that a kid, or anyone really, has to deny the very human tendency to “see what’s happening”! Imagine driving by a car wreck and not looking. So hard!
