NEEDS VS. WANTS

Daaaamn right. And when we teach this to our kids when they’re young, they’re a heckuva lot more adept at prioritizing when they’re older. xxxxx

Oh my gosh, yes, and they don’t blame Mom for not letting them do something anymore. They know it’s just life. 🤷♀️

So true Pam. I’ve not seen any sidewalk art here yet – I like featuring it in my posts. The rainbow chalk art is always the cheeriest.

That beautiful rainbow was created by my 4-yr old neighbor and her mom, Linda. 🥰 It really was divine.

You hate to see the rain come along. I saw some great chalk art that covered an entire sidewalk last year and it had rained and it was still intact. I asked a man (the father of the girl who did the artwork) and he said it was a spray chalk, and would last through several rainstorms.

Did you ever see the ones that come out when it rains, Linda? It does the reverse or usual chalk.

No, I’ve never seen that Pam – that must be incredible to see in the middle of a rainstorm! I love using chalk art in my posts, reminds me of some of my crayon drawings I have that my mom saved from my childhood. This post has the picture of the chalk art after the rain that I mentioned yesterday – the sidewalk was wet and look how vibrant. Maybe it is the reverse chalk? This was where the guy told me it was spray chalk. https://lindaschaubblog.net/2017/07/09/a-sun-soaked-sunday/

Ah, brilliant. Love a freshly chalked sidewalk!
The paint I’m talking about is activated by the rain. I saw a YouTube video about it. It’s very cool.😎

I’m going to have to check that out – yes, this sidewalk was a real joy to find!
